UI Developer

Location : 100% Remote (PART TIME WORK - 20 hours a week)

Contract Length : 6+ month contract

Summary

We are seeking candidates with strong tendencies towards human-centered design and experience leverage UI design tools including Figma and Sketch, as well as front-end languages including JavaScript, React, and CSS. Work will include planning and testing usability to create user stories, personas, and story boards.

Responsibilities

Work with business partner to understand the objectives intended for the software.
Translate those objectives into elegant, intuitive designs.
Partner with small, product owner teams (typically 4-5 people) to deliver software features.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working on product development or Agile-organized teams.
5+ years of experience in UI development including JavaScript, React, and SCSS/CSS.
Must have project experience working within a trade or finance system.
Experience with design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop (preference for Figma & Sketch).
Experience using code management tools including GitHub, as well as general knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, or SAFe).
