We're on the lookout for a skilled full-stack developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in building applications with Python, Java, React, Svelte, and proficiency in managing databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL. API development is also a key aspect of this role. As a valued member, you'll be instrumental in crafting and maintaining our web applications, collaborating closely with fellow developers to devise innovative solutions that cater to our users' needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and sustain web applications utilizing Python, Java, React, Svelte, alongside MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and FastAPI for efficient API development.
Engage in DevOps tasks leveraging Google Cloud Platform/AWS.
Foster collaboration within the development team to brainstorm and implement inventive user-centric solutions.
Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the collective growth of the team.
Liaise with the product manager and team members to grasp and fulfill product requirements effectively.
Keep abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in web development.
Remote work flexibility; occasional in-person presence required at our Houston office, with schedules communicated well in advance.

Requirements:

A solid 8-12 years of experience in web application development, proficient in Python, Java, React, Svelte, Vue with database expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and API development.
Strong grasp of web development fundamentals including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Effective communication skills, adept at working across different teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
While a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, it's not mandatory.
