About:
• Global Link FX Connect, a division of State Street Global Markets, is an industry leading multi-bank FX electronic trading platform used by 19 of the world's largest 20 FX liquidity providers and most major asset managers.
• The targeted product is a sophisticated electronic trading system with real-time and complex workflow management components built on JEE and Oracle on the server side and state-of-the-art HTML5 / Web UI technologies on the front end, and real-time technologies such as websockets on the communication layer.
• The role is a web UI developer with strong experience with JavaScript, CSS, React.js, Typescript, and the related technology stack.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ web UI development experience with at least 3+ years of financial industry experience.
• Excellent knowledge of core Web UI technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
• Demonstrated experience with expert-level knowledge working with React.js, TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and the related technology stack.
• Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Nest, GraphQL.
• Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of JavaScript-based unit testing frameworks such Jest, Enzyme.
• A passion for building meaningful visualizations on the web.
• A strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Screenshots of past work or an online portfolio is highly desirable.
• Backend experience with Java / JEE and Oracle would be a plus.
