The RealReal Supply Growth & Experimentation team is looking for a
Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help drive new features from the testing phase through to final implementation.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer you will be an active hands-on contributor. You'll work to deliver functionality that makes it easy and compelling for individuals to consign items with The RealReal.

Engineering Manager of Supply Growth & Experimentation and
can be fully remote
What You Get To Do Every Day
- Use interesting technologies like Elixir, React, Kafka, and GraphQL
- Implement and learn from experiments aimed to grow the number of consignments, driving business growth
- Produce high-quality, performant, and testable code that directly contributes to company-wide strategic initiatives
- Learn something new, whether it's a new software design pattern or new initiative to push the company forward
- Share input into technical decisions that will shape the future of our software systems
- Mentor more junior members of the team
- Foster an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing within your team
What You Bring To The Role
- 4+ years of full-stack development experience building real-world web applications in production environments.
- Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML5, Javascript, CSS/SASS, REST, JSON, React, Typescript
- Strong database fundamentals and experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience with a test-and-learn approach to developing and optimizing features at your previous company
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leaders in Product, Data Science, and Engineering
- Understanding of event based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL
- Nice to have: Experience with Elixir or Rails
