The Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC), Bureau of Information Technology (BTM) provides leadership, project management and development resources to the Bureau of Correctional Enterprises (BCE) for the implementation of NetSuite for 13 independent manufacturing shops in institutions across the State of Wisconsin. A SuiteCommerce website has been implemented for shops to offer the sale of products online.
WI-DOC is seeking a NetSuite Solutions Architect that consists of a multidisciplinary role that designs, architects, develops, and maintains integrations and application solutions in support of NetSuite’s Mid-Market Manufacturing Cloud Solution; Customer Relationship Management; SuiteCommerce Advanced; and Personalized Catalog View.
The Solutions Architect will act as a hands-on subject matter expert for Manufacturing, Accounting and CRM features used across several diverse and independent manufacturing processes that share a NetSuite Application.
Responsibilities and Duties
Function as lead consultant on NetSuite ERP implementations. Perform timely project management to a wide variety of stakeholders throughout projects. Perform assessment of client business requirements and document thoroughly in Business Requirements Document and create/communicate functional specifications for our development team.
Effectively balance client commitments according to prioritization, communicating anticipated deadlines to manage timeline and client expectations. Ability to independently manage time and tasks. Takes initiative and must always have positive/professional attitude.
Translate business requirements and provide clients with solutions within the NetSuite ERP, including NetSuite configuration alignment and/or design of customizations with NetSuite ERP to accommodate for functionality gaps. Perform data migration tasks from legacy to NetSuite ERP.
Other Skills Required:
- Experience in NetSuite administrator functionalities such as creating roles, assigning roles, creating workflows, configuring NetSuite settings etc.
- Develop NetSuite workflows, saved searches, CSV Imports, SuiteAnalytics datasets and tables
- Experience developing with SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA)
- Proficient in the creation of extensibility APIs
- Proficient with CPQ (formerly Verenia SoleCPQ)
- Experience in the SuiteCloud platform

- Functionally proficient as a NetSuite user, able to advise users on ideal use cases for customizations vs native functionality
