Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months – Possible Extension

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who combines strong coding skills with hands-on experience in API and end-to-end (E2E) test automation. This role involves designing, developing, and testing modern JavaScript-based applications while ensuring high quality and reliability through automated testing.

The ideal candidate is currently in a developer role with active involvement in automated testing, particularly using JavaScript frameworks in a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
Build and maintain automated API and E2E tests for applications and microservices.
Develop and execute test automation frameworks using tools such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Write and maintain automation scripts for frontend (browser interactions) and backend/serverless (Node.js, AWS Lambda) components.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing as both a developer and automation expert.
Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met across multiple products and environments.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5–7 years of professional experience in full-stack development and automation testing.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frontend technologies (React, Angular, or Vue).
Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
Experience with E2E automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser DOM.
Familiarity with AWS (especially Lambda) and serverless architectures.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
