Pay: Up to $73 per hour, based on experience

We are looking for a contract Frontend Engineer to build fast, reliable web interfaces for real-time AI products. You will create responsive UI for dashboards, model training screens, and agent workflows. These are data-heavy, user-facing tools where UX quality matters a lot: layout, motion, transitions, empty states, performance, accessibility, and system consistency.
The team is in the middle of a shift from platform infrastructure to polished end-user products. This is not only a coding role. We want a UI specialist who notices details, can prototype ideas, and helps shape the design system as much as the features.
Responsibilities:
- Build modern web apps with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Prototype and deliver visual systems such as dashboards, timelines, and interactive AI workflows
- Work with UX, backend, and product to design and ship clean, scalable experiences
- Extend and improve an internal design system with reusable components and clear patterns
- Create highly dynamic interfaces where data, layout, and workflows change in real time
- Push UX polish across spacing, motion, responsiveness, edge-case handling, and accessibility
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional frontend experience
- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals, including component-driven architecture
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and modern interaction practices
- Clear passion for visual polish, solid UI structure, and layout consistency
- Experience with design systems, including Storybook, tokens, and reusable components
- Familiarity with data visualization, dashboard UI, or interactive charts
Nice to have:
- Experience with GraphQL, video or map interfaces, or AI/ML-powered features
- Exposure to backend environments such as Go or Java, especially when connecting frontend services to APIs or infrastructure
