About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build, scale, and commercialize healthcare IT products across multiple domains, including supply chain, operating room systems, and patient safety platforms. This role blends hands-on development with technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration on architecture and solution design.
You’ll work across the full stack—backend, frontend, and data pipelines—while contributing to products that scale into broader healthcare markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications across healthcare IT platforms (supply chain, OR, patient safety).
- Support product commercialization by building scalable, production-ready solutions for broader healthcare markets.
- Develop and optimize backend services using Python and SQL, with a focus on performance tuning and large datasets.
- Build and enhance frontend applications using React (preferred) or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines, data integrations, and application enhancements.
- Work with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or equivalent.
- Contribute to DevOps-related tasks with a working knowledge of CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with team leads and supervisors on technical solutioning and system architecture.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers and support supervisors with scope estimation and delivery planning.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python as a backend language.
- Experience building modern front-end applications using React
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, performance tuning, and working with growing datasets.
- Healthcare IT experience within the past 3 years.
- Proven full stack experience, including backend services, ETL pipelines, and frontend development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mobile application development experience.
- Cloud experience, with Azure strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Airflow.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
