CVS is seeking Mid to Senior level React / React Native Engineers to join a modern, enterprise-scale application team. This role will focus on building and enhancing web and mobile applications using React, React Native, TypeScript, and Redux, while collaborating closely with backend and platform teams.
The ideal candidate is not limited to UI development and is comfortable discussing architecture, state management, and design tradeoffs in a large-scale production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance React (Web) and React Native (iOS & Android) components.
- Contribute to new feature development in an enterprise-grade application.
- Collaborate with backend teams on API design, integration, and issue resolution.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering thoughtful technical input.
- Step beyond UI work when required (microservices concepts, containers, cloud fundamentals).
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Clearly explain design decisions, tradeoffs, and chosen patterns.
Technology Stack
Required
- Frontend (Web): React (modern versions), TypeScript, Redux
- Mobile: React Native (iOS & Android)
- Architecture: Microservices, APIs
- Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (conceptual understanding required)
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions
Nice to Have
- Redis (caching)
- Auth0 or similar identity providers
- Automated testing & accessibility testing
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions
Must-Have Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience with modern React.
- Solid experience with Redux and TypeScript.
- Proven experience building React Native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
- Ability to explain design decisions and technical tradeoffs.
- Comfortable discussing:
- Component architecture
- State management strategies
- Enterprise-scale React patterns
- Willingness to work onsite in Atlanta 2 days per week.
