Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users in resolving hardware and software issues.
Respond to and resolve inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripheral devices, and software applications.
Set up and maintain user accounts and access rights in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the IT team to deploy and upgrade software applications across the organization.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity and security.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system backups and software updates.
Train end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques and proper use of software and hardware.
Monitor and respond to IT security incidents, including virus and malware detection and removal.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and obtain necessary support.
Document and maintain accurate records of help desk activities, including issue resolutions and troubleshooting steps.
Local travel between offices to assist with software and system issues, as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to provide proactive support and recommendations.
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting principles.
Proficiency in using and supporting Google Suite applications, AutoCAD, and Deltek (or similar project management/accounting software).
Familiarity with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
Solid understanding of computer systems, including hardware components, operating systems, and software applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Familiarity with IT security best practices and procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
