Position Summary
We're on the lookout for a Front End Engineer to join our dynamic team. We value excellent communication skills, teamwork, and initiative. The ideal candidate possesses mid-level experience but will not be confined to a rigid hierarchy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll collaborate closely with our development team.
We welcome individuals motivated to drive progressive change and eager to contribute creative solutions. While an interest in politics and campaigns is advantageous, it's not mandatory.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team on product development and feature planning.
Develop and maintain our web application using ES6.
Implement API requests and responses on the client-side.
Work closely with our designer to translate mockups and prototypes into features using React and JSX.
Create reusable React components applicable to various use cases within our app.
Enhance existing React/Elixir code.
Contribute to Phoenix API and tooling.
Triage bug reports.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of development experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript and React (experience with open source projects is advantageous).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
Excellent written English communication skills.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Elixir/Phoenix.
Proficiency in managing deployment environments (we utilize Ansible/Docker).
Familiarity with mobile app development using React Native or Swift.
Knowledge of JavaScript bundling tools like Babel and Webpack.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Passion for design and user experience.
Systematic thinking to enhance process modularity, reusability, and composability.
Strong understanding of DB maintenance/troubleshooting (we utilize Postgres).
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000, commensurate with knowledge, experience, and qualifications.
