Role: Python Developer
Location: NYC, NY / Remote
Type: Contract (C2C).
Salary Range: $55 to $60 per hour
Visa Requirements: H1B, H4 EAD, US Citizen, Green Card (GC), and GC EAD
Note: This position does not provide reimbursement for relocation expenses. Candidates will need to cover relocation costs at their own expense.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our team for a contract position based in NYC, NY or remote. This role will be critical in supporting our client's trading operations, focusing on Python development and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain Python applications to support trading operations.
- Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
- Integrate with APIs to connect various systems and streamline data exchange.
- Utilize SQL for querying and manipulating data to support trading mechanics.
- Work with business teams to understand trading mechanics for Equities products, including Positions and P&L data flows.
- Conduct Python and SQL coding tests as part of the interview process.
Technical Skills Required:
- Python: Strong experience with Python programming for application development.
- SQL: Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
- ETL: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools.
- API Integration: Ability to work with APIs for system integration.
- Trading Mechanics: Basic understanding of trading mechanics for Equities products, including Positions and P&L data flows.
Duration and Availability:
- Contract Duration: 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on client requirements.
- Start Date: Immediate (Duration until November 15th).
Additional Notes:
- We have 2 positions available.
- Candidates will be required to complete a Python coding test and SQL test during the interview process. Please allocate 1-hour slots for each interview.
