Overview:
The A.C. Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for an Application Development Team Lead role. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of talented developers to design, develop, and maintain our web applications and deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a Development Team: Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure successful project delivery and professional growth
- Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, create development plans, and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Hands-on Development: Actively participate in coding, debugging, and testing of software components, with a focus on front-end, PHP, and Go development
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, code quality, and adherence to coding standards
- Technical Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions
Required
- 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- 1+years of hands-on experience with Go (Golang) for building efficient and scalable server-side applications
- Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (such as React (Preferred), Angular, or Vue.js)
- PHP Development: Strong experience with PHP and related frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
Preferred
- Leadership: Proven experience leading a team of developers, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git (or similar) and version control workflows
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
