The Front-End Developer is responsible for completing the front-end development on new or existing websites and web applications. This role will strive to create high quality websites that comply with XTG’s style guides along with the established standards and best practices. The Front-End Developer will take business requirements or design concepts and translate them into functional and visually engaging web elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, or other technologies. This individual will be responsible for implementing interactive and responsive components that ensure seamless user experiences across all devices and platforms.
This position may be remote, located within the US.
Accountabilities
Develop XTG’s global web pages, applications and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js and other current web technologies.
Ensure that all XTG sites comply with style guides and test to confirm that all content and functionality meet established standards and best practices across multiple devices with responsive design.
Partner with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and QA team members to integrate front-end components with server-side logic, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensure alignment with business goals, participate in code reviews, and maintain effective communication throughout the development process.
Design and create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces to meet project specifications and user experience (UI/UX) requirements.
Translate UI/UX designs into functional and interactive web pages.
Provide resolutions to problems by leveraging all available resources for research and eliminate errors before moving project to Quality Assurance.
Coordinate testing activities, including test data and results.
Maintain and enhance existing application programs by continually improving your understanding of users’ needs and how the system can better support them.
Complete project assignments in a timely manner by receiving directions and project assignment priority from the Project Lead/Manager.
Develop programs that run efficiently and adhere to XTG standards by minimizing excess overhead in applications, re-using code and coding techniques, and providing alternatives based on the technical implications of the designs.
Completed work utilizing the Scrum/Agile development process. The developer will need to work with the team to refine the backlog, estimate the level of effort and help decide the work load each sprint.
Follow a documented workflow for promoting code between each environment, including source control, testing and code review.
Maintain and update technical documentation for all front-end code, ensuring that it is accessible to other team members and stakeholders.
Update job knowledge by researching new and emerging Web technologies and software products; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; leveraging available resources.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of experience in front-end web development, including e-commerce functionality and backend integration, is required.
Skills & Certifications
- Strong expertise in modern front-end and web programming languages, frameworks and libraries such as JavaScript/Typescript, Vue.js, Tailwind, JSON and REST API.
- High degree of experience in UI/UX design.
- Expertise in C# .NET Core and web front-end development.
- Kentico content management system experience highly preferred.
- Experience working in an Vue.js based development environment utilizing Typescript and Tailwind is preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology, Azure DevOps, and Git source control.
- Experience with C# IDE such as Visual Studio or VS Code.
- Solid understanding and ability to implement best practices of client-side performance optimization.
- Experience designing and implementing responsive websites.
- Able to develop sites from technical specifications & graphical representations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot bugs in existing or new code.
- Ability to understand overall architecture of web applications to effectively identify where in the development stack a problem might be occurring.
- Experience testing websites to identifying and correct any technical problems across platforms and browsers.
- Creative, resourceful, and innovative with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to develop effective relationships with individuals and groups within the XTG organization.
- Proven history of being able to work in a progressive, deadline driven environment.

Total Annual Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000/year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
