As a Mobile Software Development Engineer in Test, you’ll partner with product designers and user experience experts to create the ultimate experience for our customer’s on Discover's award-winning Mobile App! By understanding our users and the interconnected network within Discover, you’ll develop a delightful user experience. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Technical
- Experience as part of an Agile engineering or development team
- Experience in development teams utilizing React Native and Frontend application frameworks
- Experience with test automation with framework such as Appium, Selenium or similar
- Experience with React Testing Library
- Experience with Javascript, Typescript and Java preferred
- Experience integrating with third party vendors
- Experience with Gherkin and Test Driven Development
- Experience with DevOps tools
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing and new features and develop test automation strategies
- Implement test automation using Appium framework
- Monitor and improve existing test suite
- Monitor production to detect improvement opporutnities
- Remediates issues using engineering principles
