Our Client helps artists capture more value from their music and help fans directly support the artists they love. They build connections between artists and fans by enabling fans to buy song NFTs which allows them to become part of an interactive community. Now they are hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer to help shape the future of a new music economy that values artists and their music while connecting fans more closely to the music they love.

As Staff Frontend Engineer, you will lead technical direction for our engineering team while contributing as an individual contributor to our code base. You will help build and maintain our user-facing suite of tools. This includes our core song and artist pages for listening parties, artist tools, community management tools, governance, and membership tools to empower the next wave of artists and their communities. You will be involved in product decisions and have a direct impact on the end-user experience.

Responsibilities

Create delightful user experiences with an eye toward performance and accessibility
Build reusable components, write unit & integration tests, and continually raise the code quality and developer experience bar
Build web- and mobile-friendly experiences
Experiment with animation libraries and push the edge for what a next-generation social music experience should feel like

Requirements

10+ years of experience working within a similar role
Advanced knowledge of React and Typescript
Ability to write well-tested and performant code
Curiosity and passion for new tool sand technologies
Desire to continually improve code quality and development experience

Additionally Nice To Have Skills

Experience with Next.js, GraphQL
Full-stack experience (NodeJS)
Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack
Prior experience creating a design system or component library
Degree in computer science
