The Mendix Developer will be part of a high performance team of professionals responsible for delivering modern Mendix web and mobile applications and integrations for our internal and external customers. Roles & Responsibilities:

Work as part of the development team that architects, designs, develops, implements, and maintains scalable full-stack web and mobile applications
Convert stories, specifications and requirements into functional application code and works with front-end designers to create functional web pages and mobile applications
Break down projects into tasks with time estimation.
Participation in daily standups, user story refinement, and tuning those stories into highly functional, highly scalable deliverables in the Mendix platform
Ensure the proper application of coding standards, ensuring our solutions stand the test of time (robust, supportable, maintainable)
Partner with key stakeholders from the product and business teams as well as other software developers to ensure delivery of the right solution
Identify both internal and external dependencies, and take on development work across multiple projects.
Work closely with graphic designers and other development teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of dashboards and interactive web and mobile applications
Working with QA engineering team to align vision and understanding for requirements and testing strategy
Others duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Required:

3+ years in Mendix development and 5+ years’ experience in any other full stack object-oriented language (e.g. Java/Angular preferred)
Experience in Mendix native mobile app development (Android, iOS)
Experience doing technical and code review
Experience in unit testing
High organizational skills (naming convention, domain module, folders structure, attributes)
CSS, JavaScript, Java experience in Mendix
Version control system experience - SVN, Github, BitBucket. Branch management, merge conflict resolution
Experience to work and deploy in multiple environments
Good written and verbal communication along with strong analytical, problem solving skills
Strong organizational and process management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Bonus points and nice to have:

Experience in Mendix 8.x
Experience transition into 9.x
Experience with JavaScript frameworks and front-end technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, React, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Ajax
App Store and Google Play app publishing experience
Web Mobile responsive design development experience
Mendix Academy Advanced certified
Optimization of code; apply the best development practices
Experience with web and native cross-device mobile applications, SDKs and cross-platform frameworks (jQuery mobile, PhoneGap, React Native, etc) is a plus
Java 8+/J2EE, JavaScript, and object-oriented design principles and design patterns
Full stack development using infrastructure cloud services (AWS preferred) and cloud-native tools (AWS CloudWatch, API Gateway) and design patterns (Containers, Serverless, Docker, etc)
Experience with web services, microservices and RESTful API’s
