Position Summary

The ideal candidate for this position is an expert in digital analytics, insights and has a strong background in creative processes and storytelling. The role will involve actively thinking outside the box to create tailored programming strategies with counterparts to reach new and grow existing audiences, ideate creative solutions for optimizing assets across platforms and formats, creating a clear direction for creative strategy, implementing roadmaps, integrating creative knowledge, and has the ability to identify opportunities and convert these into profitable outcomes.

This role will be functioning in a remote capacity with a Los Angeles based team, and report directly into the Head of Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead video strategy and operations for Facebook and Instagram for the React properties.
Establish and develop programming strategies & schedules across platforms to expand content reach and growth
Develop A/B Testing strategies to optimize performance
Provide programming guidance, and creative notes to Creative and Production teams as needed
Lead tracking of content performance against current KPIs and creation of actionable reports on weekly and monthly basis
Oversee publishing, packaging, and distribution of Meta video content and ensure the operations team is maintaining best practices
Lead Meta team in regular platform, industry and vertical research to inform ongoing programming strategy development
Correspond with external Meta contacts & partnerships contacts
Manage projects and delegates tasks to the Meta video team
Create processes, procedures, and workflows to support Meta team
Manage, coach, develop and train direct reports

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, media studies or related field
4+ years of relevant experience
An expert in Internet and Digital Video culture, with a particular passion for Facebook and Instagram
Working knowledge of Airtable or familiar with other CMS, data storage, and project management software
Well versed on the backend of Facebook and Instagram
Self-starter who is able to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Plugged into what’s going on online, a detailed awareness of social and internet culture, memes, vernacular, creators, etc.
Incredibly organized, communicative, and detail oriented
Experience with a data-driven culture - a digital video junkie! Understanding of how to interpret data into actionable insights for creative teams
