About the Role

Flamel.ai is looking for a UI/UX Engineer to join our small, yet mighty team! This role will be the first dedicated front end role on the team, giving the successful candidate an awesome opportunity to have large amounts of creative control. The work will be challenging, fast-paced, and always changing. You should have demonstrated analytical skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge coding skills. You live and breathe the fundamentals of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and command a portfolio of web technologies new and old - all in order to launch innovative features as a part of our groundbreaking platform.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Become a first mover in building user interfaces for the emerging generative AI movement
Make a meaningful contribution to Flamel.ai by being one of the first 5 employees
Command the creative direction of Flamel’s web application from top to bottom

You might thrive in this role if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or equivalent practical experience
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs)
Experience in development or prototyping
4+ years of coding experience in one or more of the listed languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS or C/C++
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, React or Ember) and CSS pre-processing frameworks (Less), Java and C/C++
Experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, etc.
A portfolio of professional visually stunning creative work that demonstrates intuitive front end user interfaces
