Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will focus on development initiatives for enterprise applications in our Safety domain. As a member of the Environmental Health and Safety long-standing team, this individual will work closely with IT team members and our business partners in the design, development, and support of applications in this space.

The position requires strong object-oriented programming, web development, UI design, and application architecture skills. Core technologies for this role include C#, ASP.NET, ReactJS, Angular.js, and SQL. This person will be a member of the Software Engineering team, working alongside other software engineers and quality assurance analysts. They will also collaborate with others across the enterprise.

An ideal candidate should possess a passion for new technology and an established background as a senior engineer. They should have experience contributing to the technical and architectural vision in an enterprise environment. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, prioritization abilities, and effective communication skills are requirements for this role.

The Software Engineering team creates solutions for client using some of the latest technologies including ReactJS, .NET Core, and Azure.

Develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications;
Apply architectural vision and standards into working code;
Contribute to best practices for enterprise application development;
Help identify relevant emerging technologies and trends;
Participate in requirements review and estimation;
Lead projects to successful delivery;
Set positive example of development practices and work ethic;
Provide mentorship to development staff;
Exhibit advanced troubleshooting and problem solving;
Learn client's business processes and organizational needs;
Represent and promote our technologies and skills to the business.
