The Role: Part-Time Executive Assistant

Location: Remote - Houston, TX

The Role

A globally engaged investor and executive with a Houston home base is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant who thrives in the quiet confidence of getting things handled...before anyone has to ask.

This isn’t your average EA position. Its equal parts trusted gatekeeper, thoughtful organizer, and calm problem-solver for someone whose world includes investments, international travel, and the occasional family-office errand. You’ll help bring order to a fast-moving schedule and ensure what needs doing gets done smoothly, accurately, and with discretion.

Responsibilities

Managing a complex calendar across time zones (and spotting conflicts before they become one)
Handling email, correspondence, and light bookkeeping or reconciliation
Coordinating travel - sometimes across continents, sometimes just across Texas
Keeping tabs on follow-ups, commitments, and key contacts so nothing slips through the cracks
Occasionally lending a hand with local errands, small events, or family-office logistics

Qualifications

Grace under pressure, organized to your core, and fluent in discretion
Experienced supporting high-net-worth or senior-level executives
Naturally proactive - you anticipate needs, not just react to them
Tech-comfortable (Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, CRMs) and unflappable with new systems
Based in Houston and able to manage local errands or in-person tasks on occasion

The details

Part-time, roughly 20 hours a week (primarily mornings)
$40-50/hr. range, commensurate with experience
Potential to evolve into a full-time role for the right long-term fit
Remote flexibility, with occasional in-person Houston errands or meetings
