About The Role

As our Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing end-to-end features that redefine how our customers label data at scale. You'll collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to define the labeling workflow and empower our customers to optimize their labeling strategies.

About You

5+ years of relevant industry backend experience (Typescript, Go, NodeJS, GraphQL, etc.)
Proficiency in MySQL and/or Postgres databases
Familiarity with Kafka or other asynchronous messaging systems
Experience working with Google Cloud, AWS, or other public cloud platforms
Knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
Experience with distributed systems
Demonstrated history of writing clean and maintainable code, along with unit and integration testing
Strong focus on API system design, emphasizing performance, correctness, and user-centric interfaces
Proven ability to take the lead on critical escalations, driving them to resolution and leveraging automation for efficiency

Labelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected annual base salary range for United States-based candidates is $170,000 - $215,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.
