As a Senior Frontend Software Developer, you will be responsible for leading the team in building fluid and responsive user interfaces for multiple platforms and devices.

We are looking for developers with at least four years of experience in Javascript or React and at least 2 years of team leadership experience in an Agile environment.

We are not accepting C2C applications at this time.

REQUIREMENTS

Leadership Experience

Experience leading design decisions, establishing the engineering approach used by the team, coaching and guiding other software engineers.
Liaising with external stakeholders such as engineers in other teams, architects or infrastructure teams.
Explaining complex technical issues with key stakeholders with a non-technical background.

Software Design

Expert skills in web technologies including HTML, CSS, advanced JavaScript ES6+, Node.js
Functional and Object Oriented design patterns including DDD.
Commercial experience with React.js.
Knowledge of accessibility needs and how to solve for them.
Monitoring and fixing performance issues.
Designing secure applications and fixing security issues, knowledge of the OWASP Top Ten.
Automated functional testing.
Microservice Architectures.

Cloud engineering

Deploying to at least one major Cloud Platform such as AWS, GCP or Azure
Engineering Techniques
Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
TDD
Pair programming
BDD/Specification by example

Other useful experience:

Other server side languages such as Java/Kotlin
Event driven design
Deploying to serverless cloud infrastructure
Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Circle CI
