Morgan Jeffrey & Co. is a global digital publisher of business and technology information. We are looking for a full stack engineer to convert a prototype design into a fully functional and responsive web application by using various JavaScript libraries for front-end and back-end development. Your technical skills would also be applied to the deployment of the web application on a cloud-based infrastructure.

We would expect you to would advise us on the security and maintenance strategies before the handover of the finalised project, so that we could protect the assets from vulnerabilities that may affect the operability of the application.

Responsibilities

Convert Figma prototype design to HTML/CSS
Install, set up and and use front end (client side) and back end (server-side) to create a fully functional website
Deploy a cloud-based server to host the web application
Implement database if required
Develop a strategy for maintenance and security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience in JavaScript libraries
3+ years of web application development
Technical and practical skills in front-end development - React, Vue, Angular, jQuery
Technical and practical skills in back-end development - Node, Next, Gatsby, Headless CMS
Database implementation and maintenance
