Patient Scheduler/ Account Manager

Location: Telecommute

OnSite Dermatology, a national provider of mobile dermatology care to seniors living in retirement communities/ facilities is looking for a Patient Scheduler that includes the management and development of assigned facilities. This is a full-time remote based position, Monday- Friday. Our corporate office is located in Boca Raton, Florida.

Specific duties include:

Calling and scheduling patients
Calling and scheduling doctor visits with Key Decision Makers: Director of Nursing, Executive Directors, Power of Attorneys
Verifying Insurance, obtaining referrals
Coordinating monthly practitioner calendars
Handling high volume of incoming calls in a call center environment
Developing, managing and growing assigned accounts

Required Competencies:

Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
Detail oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast past environment
Strong organizational skill and ability to handle multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines
Must possess intermediate level computer and software skills for data entry, email and Microsoft office
Strong understanding of insurance eligibility using Availity and Navinet.
Ability to take initiative and problem solve.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have access to a secure home office, free from background noise or other distractions.
Access to highspeed internet
1+ year previous healthcare, dermatology or medical office experience
1+ year previous experience verifying health insurance.
EMR experience preferred.
Bi-Lingual a plus
Must clear Level 2 ACHA background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
