RDI Technology Partners is a technology/engineering staffing firm. Our client is innovating the agriculture industry with novel scientific-based software to analyze crop production efficiency. They are searching for a software engineer/developer with a passion for what they do…someone who is self-motivated and wants more than a boring 9-5 job. What You’ll Need:

Three (3) years of programming in Python backend with React/JavaScript front-end
Public cloud computing (preferably GCP)
Reviewing code for best practices in state management, API design and integration, code quality
Build and develop pipelines to production in code management systems like GitHub
Experience in maintaining your own production deployments and CI/CD pipelines (DevOps)
Solid organization and project management skills (your own projects)
Clear communication skills with solid professional references (upon offer receipt)

Nice To Haves Experience:

Flask (super helpful)
Interest or background in agriculture/farming
Geospatial software, including QGIS, and Python libraries Shapely, GeoPandas
Improving product and data security
API integration
Application scaling and production systems support

This is a 100% remote, salaried W2 employee position (permanent full-time) with benefits. This is a ground floor opportunity, so as the company grows so will the possibility for advancement and leadership (hands-on technical of course). You must be a U.S. person or be able to obtain a TN visa. No contractors will be considered.

Salary $90K-$120K commensurate with technical relevancy (mid-level position)
