A growing consulting firm is adding a Technical Lead for the Data Team, which is working on medical applications. Projects focused on data ingestion pipelines, data analysis, and data presentation, supporting business users who consume ingested data, leading the client to unidentified opportunities to learn from the available data, and identifying, recommending, and supporting data ingestion from additional sources.

What will you be doing?

Work remotely for a medical firm client
Lead a team of 3 Software Engineers
Strong emphasis on the back end with light front-end work
Design and develop software using Python, FastAPI
Work with the team to develop features and solve complex technical problems
Ensure code quality, security, and scalability
Debug and troubleshoot issues promptly
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

What are the minimum qualifications?

8+ years of experience in software development
Some technical leadership skills
Strong experience in Python
Experience with Pandas or Polars libraries
AWS services experience
Data experience in pipelines, injection, analysis
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
