Pay rate: + $80 per hour

Standard work week, Monday - Friday, EST hours, 8am Start. No OT anticipated.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ReactJS Front-End Web Developer to join our agile team on a remote-friendly contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal web applications, delivering solutions to accelerate materials innovation, and working closely with our designers, back-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality and visually appealing user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy new features on our web applications using ReactJS
Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with UX/UI team members, back-end developers and project managers to deliver high-quality user experiences
Partner with other software teams to share knowledge and resources to deliver holistic solutions
Mentor and train junior colleagues on complex front-end challenges
Work independently and manage your own time effectively while meeting project deadlines

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in ReactJS front-end web development
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
Experience with Redux, Webpack, and front-end frameworks such as JavaScript, React, VueJS, HTML, CSS
Experience with Git and version control
Experience interacting with web services/micro services
Experience translating wire-frames into a scalable front-end architecture
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while meeting project deadlines
