We seek a motivated and talented Mobile App Engineer to join our amazing development team. Skyllful is a rugged mobile-centric platform that delivers patented “hands-on systems training for hands-on workers.” The Skyllful platform enables our customers to deliver system training to mobile workers where they are, on the device they already use regardless of if they are in an oilfield, on a delivery route, or in a retail store.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and add features to the existing Skyllful native mobile applications using first party native tools such as Xcode and/or Android Studio
Contribute code through a git-flow development process complete with pull requests and code reviews
One day a week act as a “first-responder” by supporting the customer success team in identifying and correcting any defects found in production
Make modifications and expand connections to the React-based lesson engine that runs inside the Skyllful native applications
Pursue ongoing technical skill development by actively contributing across different aspects of our platform beyond your current skill set
Actively and regularly communicate with dev team members in daily stand-ups and Slack

Qualifications:

Complete fluency in English
2+ years of experience in native mobile app development for iOS or Android.
Solid understanding of MVVM architecture.
Experience coding in a Reactive/Observer pattern style.
Proficient in retrieving and storing data from REST services.
Familiarity with web front end frameworks, especially React.
Strong proficiency in implementing UI designs for handheld and tablet form factors.
Consistent track record of on-time delivery of high-quality, clean code with minimal bugs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to show code samples that reflect the level of skill and experience
