Job Description:

As a Website Developer (Backend) at T Palmer Agency, you will be responsible for coding and managing all backend aspects of our website development projects. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end elements, optimizing website performance and functionality.

Responsibilities:

Develop robust and scalable backend solutions for websites using appropriate technologies and programming languages.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of websites, addressing optimization and security considerations.
Implement and maintain databases, APIs, and server-side applications to support website functionality.
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted website operation.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web development, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.

Requirements:

Proficiency in backend web development languages such as Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails.
Proficiency with programs such as Web Flow, Wordpres, or Figma
UI/UX experience is a plus
Strong understanding of web development principles, including HTTP, RESTful APIs, and server-side architecture.
Experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
