We are looking for a founding, Software Engineer to join one of Unusual Ventures' newest investments. Currently in stealth mode but already running a successful pilot in a major American city, this team is on the cusp of significant scale. Team has recently closed a large round of seed / A funding.

There is a good chance you are already familiar with this founder and his most recent venture, which exited for over 2 Billion earlier this year. He's already assembled another whip-smart early team, and all are aligned around their core mission -- driving the next *major* innovation in the consumer retail experience.

In this search, we're optimizing for slope > experience. Top candidates will have 2 to 5+ years of successive software engineering experience within *top* hypergrowth companies or early-stage startups. We aren't overly fixated on specific language proficiencies or your leaning within the stack -- rather, we're looking for Product Engineers who care deeply about the consumer experience, learn FAST and are able to flex in many directions.

This is a big role, and is accompanied by the career and financial upside that should naturally go with it.

Finally, we're running at this search with the full power of the team. The business is scaling fast, and there is an urgent need to onboard these hires. We will run an efficient interview process over the course of the next two weeks, and aim to onboard successful candidates in early December.
