JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - React/JavaScipt

LOCATION: Seattle, WA (Approved Remote Locations: Denver, CO, New York, NY, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, and San Diego, CA)

DURATION: 6 months

PAY RANGE: $65-$75/hour

Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.

Summary:

Software engineer who has experience with on-call responsibilities. This engineer will help the existing on-call and work on support tickets and build tooling for automation. Good problem solving and communication skills are desired.

Previous experience in Front end(React, JS) is an advantage. Experience in backend code with Python, Java or C++ is required. Previous experience with production support and handling tickets is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:

Work directly with internal teams that deal with customer support.
Previous payments or billing experience is a plus

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
Knowledge of, at least, one modern programming language such as Java or Python.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
