We are hiring a remote Front-End HTML/Javascript Engineer with Rails/Turbo/Stimulus experience to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS AND some knowledge of the modern front-end stack of Rails/Turbo/Stimulus controllers.

Basic requirements:

The ideal dev is self-motivated with real-world experience. You don’t need a fancy degree, or big tech experience. (self-driven)
You must be able to own a project and work directly with people who will use your tools. (good communication)
You'll be expected to complete a coding challenge as part of the interview process (everybody on the team has done well on it)
You must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time. We are on zoom and slack a lot

Front-End Rails Engineer responsibilities will include:

Implement functional and beautiful customer facing web sites
Ensure responsive designs for optimal display across various devices
Collaborate with our designers and back end engineers

Qualities

3+ years of experience in front-end design and javascript development
1+ years of Rails w/ Turbo and Stimulus
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
Familiarity with SaaS products and their unique design challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills
You can be located anywhere, but you must be willing to work in Pacific timezone
