Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Stack Software Engineer on our community-building platform, Harbor. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer your responsibilities will include development and rollout of code on our frontend react applications as well as the underlying API’s that serve data for them. You will be responsible for new features, diagnosis and fixing of bugs in existing systems, and working closely with team leadership to estimate task sizes and hit deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

Push NextJS code to implement new features that meet the needs of a rapidly growing product
Fix bugs in existing Typescript code and audit the codebase as you work to identify areas where systems could be improved
Implement C# API endpoints to source the data you need for the user-facing frontends
Analyze and optimize performance of live systems
Write tests and perform QA of new systems
Work with leadership to estimate delivery dates and hit deadlines

Required Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience as an individual contributor
Familiarity with cloud architecture
Strong knowledge of Typescript
Strong knowledge of NextJS
Familiarity with C#
Familiarity with SQL (MySQL)
Familiarity with AWS
Familiarity with Docker
Familiarity with Git
