Zilliant is looking for a Staff Software Engineer – React to join our Engineering team. As a Staff Software Engineer – React, you will be collaborating with architects and backend engineers to design product features and identify front-end requirements!

You will work with a variety of technologies, including React, Node.js, DynamoDB, Force.com, and multiple web/SaaS technologies. The ideal candidate should possess great organization and communication skills, enjoy taking ownership of key features, and possess a love of problem-solving.

Location: Austin, TX or Remote/Telecommute/Work From Home

What You’ll Do:

Designing and implementing software from stated requirements and ongoing iterations
Collaborating with architects and backend engineers to design product features and identify frontend requirements
Providing mentoring and technical guidance for teammates
Establishing best practices for React development across teams
Contributing a leading voice to team technical discussions, including grooming and planning

Who You Are:

Experienced with the Amazon Web Service stack
Microservice experience, including Docker, Gradle, and continuous integration technologies
Experienced with micro frontend architecture
Server development experience using Node.js
Experienced with UI/UX design

What You’ll Need:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Generally eligible to work in the United States full time without sponsorship
10+ years of total development experience
4+ years of development experience with React
Experience with REST-based web services
Strong object-oriented development skills
Experience developing solid and scalable front-end data management software in React
Experience analyzing others’ React code and recommending and directing improvements
Experience mentoring others in software development best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and API documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong leadership skills and a willingness to become a prominent voice on development and design decisions
