POA Enterprises LLC is developing FleetSync, an innovative AI-powered logistics platform that connects logistics companies with truck drivers. Our solution reduces empty miles by 78% and cuts matching time from hours to minutes. We've already built the frontend application (90% complete) and are now seeking a skilled UI developer to finalize, optimize, and integrate it with our serverless backend architecture.
Role Overview
We're looking for a talented UI developer to join our team on a contract basis to refine our existing frontend application and ensure seamless integration with our serverless backend. This is a critical role that will help bring our product to market and support our upcoming launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, optimize, and enhance our existing frontend codebase
- Implement responsive design improvements for all device types
- Create intuitive interfaces for driver tracking and route visualization
- Integrate frontend with AWS serverless backend components
- Develop API connection points between frontend and backend
- Implement role-based interfaces (Admin, Company, Driver)
- Create data visualization components for analytics dashboards
- Optimize application performance and loading times
- Collaborate with backend developers on integration points
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (React.js preferred)
- Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience integrating frontends with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and responsive design
- Experience with mapping libraries (Google Maps, Mapbox)
- Familiarity with AWS services (Cognito, API Gateway)
- Version control with Git
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work on logistics, transportation, or on-demand platforms
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts)
- Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time updates
- Experience working with serverless architectures
- Understanding of geolocation and mapping technologies
- Experience with PWAs (Progressive Web Apps)
- Portfolio showcasing responsive, user-friendly interfaces
Project Specifics
- Duration: 2-3 months
- Possibility for ongoing work as we grow
- Remote position with regular check-ins
- Collaboration with backend development team
- Immediate start date preferred
