We are looking for a backend engineer to help the next generation discover audio safely, and help the people who care for them feel confident every step of the way! We created an experience for younger listeners to safely discover and enjoy music within the Spotify app, while giving parental controls to their Plan Managers.
You bring a strong foundation in system design, data structures, and algorithms. You enjoy untangling problems with teammates and choosing pragmatic solutions that move the product forward. As a backend engineer on this team you will develop new and evolve existing features for younger listeners and the people who manage their experience, and run services that uphold safety, privacy, and policy guardrails at Spotify scale. You will design clear interfaces, dependable data flows, and resilient systems that integrate deeply with the broader platform so families can trust the experience everywhere Spotify plays.
