About the Role
We’re looking for a frontend developer who can combine technical expertise with creativity to deliver polished digital experiences. You’ll play a key role in building everything from sleek marketing sites to robust web applications, using modern frameworks and advanced WordPress development practices. Collaboration is central—you’ll be working alongside designers, backend engineers, and project managers to bring ideas to life.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Turn design concepts into fully responsive, accessible front-end code.
- Create engaging user interfaces with Vue.js or React.
- Build WordPress solutions from the ground up—both custom themes and plugins.
- Extend functionality through the WordPress REST API and third-party integrations.
- Ensure that performance, SEO, and accessibility remain top priorities.
- Participate in peer reviews, offering input to strengthen team-wide development practices.
What You’ll Bring
- At least three years of hands-on experience in frontend development.
- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Proficiency with Vue.js or React for building dynamic applications.
- Advanced understanding of WordPress, including:
- Custom theme creation
- Plugin development
- REST API usage
- Custom post types/taxonomies
- Comfortable using Git for version control.
- Problem-solving ability paired with strong communication skills.
Bonus Experience
- React Native development.
- WordPress optimization (security, caching, performance).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks.
- Previous work in a client-focused or agency setting.
