We’re seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Python Developer to join one of our client's Auth and Policy Platform team covering infrastructure’s workload identity, access, and metadata management for the developer platform. This team empowers true self-service for developers by delivering robust metadata and access controls, while ensuring security and policy compliance.
This role is HYBRID (mandatory) in either Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA!
In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate on provisioning and developing the Developer Platform’s directory and registry services.
- Design and implement new features for our service and team registry.
- Build and maintain client libraries to enhance developer experience.
- Tackle tasks, issues, and feature requests across the team’s suite of services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-priority changes and improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Advanced Python development skills, with experience across the stack.
- Strong background in AWS and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with provisioning and deployment tools.
- Ability to understand, verify, and enhance developer platform features.
- Passion for building secure, scalable, and self-service solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
•MUST have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering only (NO STEM degree)
•5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer specifically with Python web development using *Flask, *FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks (*Flask and FastAPI are highly preferred, Django is second preference)
•Python on the backend & React on the frontend.
•At least 3 years of experience setting up or maintaining applications in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar environments/tools
•Experience setting up and starting projects that run in a cloud-hosted environment from either personal or work experience using infrastructure as code
•Experience creating and maintaining APIs using GraphQL
•Experience with MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
•Experience with front-end development, specifically React
•Experience integrating applications with LDAP in python
•Experience giving demos to technical audiences
•Solid experience building and designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems
IG provides benefit options available at a discount from Day 1 of employment. This role pays up to $86.50/hour. This a 12 month contract + extensions - likely to covert fulltime (must have a degree).
