React Front-End Engineer
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: 100% remote
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm EST/CST
Our client is looking for a Senior React/Front End Developer to support their retail/ecommerce site. We’re seeking a highly skilled React Developer to join our client’s Recommendations team, which powers customer-facing features like “Recently Viewed” and “Frequently Bought Together” on their .com platform. This team owns the product end-to-end and collaborates closely with full-stack and machine learning engineers to deliver seamless, personalized shopping experiences. This employee will be using existing codebases as everything is already written, but needs improvements/upgrades to maintain the code.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5–7+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Expert-level proficiency in React (latest versions preferred).
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI patterns.
- Experience with customer-facing applications or external-facing platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for building high-quality, scalable products.
