💻 Job Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer with an active Secret or Top Secret Clearance to design, develop, and deliver next-generation software solutions.
This role will directly support modernization efforts for the Navy—creating secure, scalable, and resilient systems that empower mission success.
You’ll collaborate with a team of top engineers responsible for developing and deploying custom applications across complex, high-performance environments. Ideal candidates are hands-on builders who thrive in fast-paced, Agile teams and are fluent in both front-end and back-end development.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade software and APIs
- Develop microservices and scalable architectures across secure environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for production systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver technical solutions aligned with business outcomes
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and performance optimization
⚙️ Requirements
- Must have an active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance — required for this position
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript, etc.)
- Experience with at least one database (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and client-server design
- Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Front-end experience with ReactJS, Angular, or similar frameworks
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD development practices
- Strong communication skills and a passion for technology and innovation
Preferred:
- Full-stack development experience
- Automated testing and continuous integration experience
- Experience working in both commercial and defense sectors
