What You'll Do- Build and own Honk, developing the backend infrastructure for our autonomous coding agent
- Integrate LLMs and agentic workflows into production systems
- Scale backend infrastructure with robust services in Python/TypeScript at enterprise level
- Design agentic workflows that understand, plan, and execute code changes across large codebases
- Enhance developer experience by integrating seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines and developer tools
- Ensure reliability and quality by delivering testable, observable, and maintainable backend code
- Drive innovation and leadership by experimenting with new AI models and contributing to technical direction
Who You Are- You have backend expertise with Python, Java, or TypeScript/Node.js and cloud platforms
- You understand LLMs & agentic workflows (prompt engineering, orchestration, AI tools like Copilot/Claude)
- You design scalable systems that address reliability, latency, and cost challenges in AI-powered environments
- You are experienced in DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring)
- You value code quality and own systems from design to production
- You collaborate effectively across diverse teams (AI researchers, PMs, engineers)
- You thrive in dynamic environments, learning and adapting as AI technologies evolve
Where You'll Be- This role is based in London
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
