About the Role
We are looking for a detail-driven and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our data team. This role is perfect for someone early in their analytics career who enjoys working with data, uncovering insights, and supporting business decision-making through meaningful analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business operations.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present insights clearly.
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to drive data-backed decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Maintain and update datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Support ongoing data quality checks and documentation.
- Help automate recurring reports and data processes using basic scripting or BI tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience as a Data Analyst (internship/project experience accepted).
- Strong understanding of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
- Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts.
Preferred / Good-to-Have
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Exposure to dashboards and automated reporting workflows.
- Knowledge of data cleaning techniques and data governance practices.
- Understanding of business metrics and KPIs.
