My client is a VC funded start up who are aiming to revolutionise the construction industry through automating construction estimation using AI to process complex drawings and documents.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 3+ years of industry experience to build production-grade AI agent systems, design human-in-the-loop approval workflows, and develop interactive canvas & 3D visualizations. This person is crucial for ensuring the platform's UI and UX are in the correct place.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in React and /Node/ TypeScript
- Experience with production AI/LLM applications.
- Full- stack engineer with 50/50 front- end/back- end split.
- Proven experience taking a product 0 -1 in a high bar company.
- Experience at FAANG, early- stage AI- focused startup or at construction AI tech companies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with HTML Canvas or WebAssembly.
- Worked with table frameworks or have had graphics experience before
- Ability to move fast and learn new frameworks quickly.
- Happy to visit the office in Denver on occasion.
- 3+ years of experience in full- stack software engineering
What will you be doing?
- Architect and scale our multi-turn AI agent orchestrator.
- Design and build approval systems with granular permission controls and UI for argument visualization.
- Develop performant 2D canvas tools for precision takeoff, PDF annotation, and real-time measurements.
- Engineer and optimize our Bill of Materials (BOM) table with Excel-like formula capabilities and collaboration features.
- Build a chat interface for natural language interaction with the platform, integrating multiple backend services.
