Overview
Our client is seeking a Software Developer with strong AWS experience to support a high-impact initiative. This is a long-term contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance, business needs, or placement on another team within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js
• Build and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions and Step Functions
• Work with AWS Secrets Manager for secure configuration and credential management
• Design and interact with DynamoDB
• Manage and utilize S3 for storage solutions
• Collaborate on AWS networking concepts and configurations
• Participate in architectural discussions and implementation
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineering leadership
Required Qualifications
• 4–6 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, S3)
• React
• Node.js
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts
• Experience building and supporting production-grade systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with .NET
