Our client is a global technology company providing platforms and infrastructure that power next-generation financial systems and data-intensive applications.
They are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to come and join their team. In this role, you will get to build, design, and develop backend systems, API's that help support their applications. The role is fully remote, but candidates must be near NYC.
You will also get to:
- Design and build resilient, high-performance backend systems capable of supporting complex, data-heavy applications at scale.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards around clean code, reliability, and release processes, leveraging automation and peer review.
- Continuously evaluate new tools, platforms, and architectural patterns to drive improvements across distributed systems and financial technology platforms.
They need strong experience on the backend using:
- Node.js, Typescript, Express, and Restful API's
- Strong experience using SQL
Comp is $210,000 + on the base + bonus
