Senior Engineering Manager (Player-Coach)
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager who actively codes and leads from the front. This is a true player-coach role — candidates who have stepped away from day-to-day coding will not be a fit.
What you’ll do
• Write and ship production code weekly while leading the team
• Set technical direction through hands-on design, pairing, and code reviews
• Lead and develop a team of ~5 engineers
• Own delivery across velocity, quality, and reliability
What we’re looking for
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years web engineering experience with recent, hands-on coding
• 4+ years managing engineers in a player-coach model
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, AWS, Python or Node, SQL
• Product-minded, decisive, and delivery-oriented
