Job Description
We're looking for a Lead eCommerce Engineer to help shape our eCommerce technology roadmap and build scalable, high-performance web experiences used by millions of guests worldwide. This role requires strong full-stack expertise with the flexibility to move fluidly between frontend- and backend-focused projects as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, setting technical direction and best practices

Design and build scalable, high-quality eCommerce applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, Business) to deliver impactful solutions

Own technical delivery, ensuring performance, reliability, and code quality

Drive innovation in eCommerce product development and customer engagement strategies
Required Skills & Experience

Frontend: Strong experience with React.js (component creation/modification, state management, design patterns)

Backend: Hands-on experience with Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and Node.js (both required)

Ability to work comfortably on:

Proven experience with eCommerce platforms and optimizing customer engagement and sales performance

Experience with APIs, microservices architectures

Exposure to cloud/serverless and event-driven architectures

Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers
