Zillow’s in-house creative agency is seeking a skilled content strategist to help guide our extensive content marketing program. Our work helps buyers, renters, sellers, agents and others achieve their goals in real estate. Whether it’s an email, article, video, or text message, we strive to be engaging, trustworthy, empathetic, and fun.
We’re looking for someone who can analyze how that work performs, identify and test improvements, and suggest innovative new approaches. Working with our team and our collaborators, you’ll ensure we win customers’ attention and trust, while driving measurable impact for our brand.

- Use analytics tools to make data-backed recommendations for how our content can better meet the needs of our customers
- Take marketing briefs created by our partners and develop them into content strategies for emails, web pages, and other surfaces
- Work with teams across marketing to plan for custom and dynamic content based on personas, user behavior and more
- Bring ad campaigns and brand partnerships to life through messaging guidance and recommended tie-ins in owned channels
- Develop a deep understanding of Zillow’s brand strategy, voice and tone, and audience segments
- Help categorize and maintain our large libraries of content assets, and prepare them for new uses
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $77,800.00 - $124,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
- A content pro with demonstrated success working in large, highly collaborative, data-driven environments
- A strategist who is passionate about the value of high-quality educational content and eager to demonstrate its impact quantitatively
- A thoughtful collaborator who is able to build rapport with both creatives and marketing channel owners
- Experience with analytics tools like GA, Knotch, Heap, Tableau, Amplitude, and Contentsquare (or similar)
