Your Role
As Product Owner at Irth, you will blend expertise in product development, blockchain, and Agile project management to champion our mission to advance birth equity. This entrepreneurial role involves working across users, teams, and stakeholders to own the product’s growth and performance. Your success will be rewarded with compensation tied to key achievements.
This role offers the unique opportunity to bridge innovation and social impact by designing technology that directly addresses healthcare inequities and shapes equitable maternal and infant care.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape Product Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define, refine, and deliver on Irth’s product vision. Lead Agile processes and developers to turn needs into tangible products.
- Foster Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align product features with organizational goals, driving adoption and user satisfaction.
- Own the Product Backlog: Prioritize features based on user and strategic needs. Architect scalable solutions to support platform growth, ensuring strong performance and data integrity.
- Translate Needs into Action: Engage diverse stakeholders to gather insights, craft user stories, and deliver features aligned with Irth’s goals. Monitor metrics like adoption, satisfaction, and revenue impact to measure success.
- Leverage Blockchain Innovation: Partner with developers to implement secure, decentralized technologies, driving use cases like verifiable credentialing and patient-led data monetization.
Who You Are
- Mission-Driven: You are U.S.-based and bring 5-7 years’ experience in product leadership and share our commitment to using technology for social impact.
- Agile Practitioner: Experienced in guiding teams through workflows such as Scrum and SAFe to deliver iterative progress.
- Technically Savvy: Familiar with technologies like React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and blockchain, with a proven ability to guide outsourced teams effectively. Experience with database infrastructure and platform businesses preferred.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Skilled in analyzing user feedback and data to prioritize and execute impactful solutions.
- User-Centric: Passionate about delivering accessible, equitable experiences for underserved communities.
- Inclusive Communicator: Adept at clear communication across teams, rallying diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
Compensation
- Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 (based on experience and accomplishments).
- Performance Incentives: Access to up to $20,000 in incentives for achieving key metrics within 12 months.
- Equity: Anticipated options in a future for-profit spinout (vesting over 5 years, contingent on milestones).
